A verified creator is an account holder on a creator platform whose identity or ownership of the account has been confirmed by the platform, usually through submitted ID, a linked social profile, or an official application review.
Verification matters when you are deciding whether an account behind a paywall is run by the person it claims to represent, since impersonation and stolen photos are common problems on subscription platforms. The badge itself only confirms identity or account control, not the quality or nature of the content.
